That sounds potentially dangerous to me. Might be "mostly ok" in gentle maneuvering, but could also be misleading. Not to be a killjoy, but I would think it might pose a liability issue to Dynon.

One other caveat. If you add / remove / change the location of avionics (or any other component which may change the "magnetic signature" of your aircraft) it would be prudent to re-calibrate.
