What's wrong with the panel mounted AP disconnect switch from Dynon? Might save a lot of trouble and you have plenty of panel space.

Yes, let's get a review of Airmate - Seattle Avionics is driving me nuts. It takes FOR EVER to download VFR, IFR low and high charts for only 7 states. Garmin, by comparison, is less than one minute for the 175 GPS navigator. I may be doing something wrong with the Seattle Avionics file...

That makes sense from Dynon's perspective and I don't think the AV-30 existed when the STC was developed. The 337 might be something to look into - I'll ask the avionics guys I use. With all the panel space that HDX saves, there is room to add an AV-30 and leave the D10A where it is.

Short bodies are lucky, your panel configuration allows for (easier) dual 10" install. On the K model the angled breaker panel has to be modified to allow space for the second 10" - it can be done but a lot of work...maybe when I retire. The Dynon gallery has good pictures of Mooney installs...

Sorry for the late reply. I purchased one Lexar 32GM, USB 3.1 and one PNY 64GM, USB 3.1 and both work fine. Both are very small, like in the picture Eugr posted. Who would have thought that an the older technology USB would work better...
