Did anybody try to clean the power and ground wires with ferrite ferules and or capacitors? A transmitter could put a lot of dirt on those lines. An antenna inside would also nicely radiate into every wire around. Also missing from the list of remedies is checking the antenne with an SWR meter...

It's no problem. Vista is picky, you might have to run the setup as system manager, click right on the setup.exe. Another cable i tried installed the drivers all by itself. Basically there is no difference, if it works on XP it works on Vista, but usually you have to tell Vista many times over...

Ok, first flight done, regretfully without proper operating or reliable coolant temperature indication. Remember, this was a bug in the previous firmware version, and should be ironed out in this actual version. Selecting sensor type 4 brings the display to -99. Selecting 3 back once more...

Strange things happening, as said, -99 if i select sensor type 4, close to true readings with sensor type 3 selected. Pull up is 995 ohms on my meter. I can switch between the almost good and -99 reading just by changing the sensor type back and forth. anything i can do to clarify the situation...

Just to add to the confusion: I was running the engine today, and with the coolant sensor on 3, instead of Rotax 4 the temperatures seem to make sense, especially on the higher like 80-100 C range. My blind bat is that sensor 3 is actually 4, and somebody started counting the bits at 1 instead...

Just to jump in, same problem here. Close but wrong readings on all other (1,2,3) sensor selections. Resistance 1500 ohm at 16 celcius, just like the oil sensor. Pull-up 1 k from 5 v : reading -99. Please don't let us wait for the next update, can i have a patch please? Regards, Jos Okhuijsen
