    Disengage button config

That is one of the reasons that we installed the AP47. One of the others was the 180 button on the panel. The boss said that it was a safety issue, so, in the panel it went... :)

    Garmin x96 to Dynon HS34

Tried it set for both normal and fast. It didn't see it set at either at 9600. The screen on the 696 says to set it at 4800... Guess that they meant it. Haven't updated the 696 in a few months ... but don't expect that that would make a difference.... Dave

    Garmin 300XL wiring - Alt...

Re: Garmin 300XL wiring... I added the link between the 327 and the 300 and alt data is transferred from the d100 to the 327 to the 300. I checked the data that the HS34 is expected and press alt is one of those that it says it sends over 429...

RV-9a need for a pitch servo?

It would probably feel half finished without the ALT. You would likely want to add it later ... and it would be easier to do it up front.

    Upload problems

Updating ours this weekend, we got some network errors, but after restarting things, all was good. We had 5.1.1 running on the EFIS, 5.0 on the AP74 and servos and 4.2 on the compass. So, it wasn't surprising that we needed to restart to get everything on the same page. The instructions didn't...

    Garmin 300XL wiring - Alt...

Thanks to the folks here, have the Garmin 300XL hooked  up and talking  the EFIS and HS34. Plays well with the 696. All is well except that it is not getting any altitude input from the D-100. I remember reading here that folks expected that the alt data would come through the HS34 in the 429...

    Garmin x96 to Dynon HS34

Hoped that it worked that way.Wouldn't want the plane flying around on a simulated course NMEA or Aviation? The Aviation was the part that seemed strange... Thanks for the help .... Dynon rocks!

    Garmin x96 to Dynon HS34

The HS34 does not seem to get signal from 696. Continues to wait for fix. Have configuration on serial 2 set to: Garmin "NMEA In/Out" HS34 "NMEA 4800" http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Garmin_X96_Wiring indicates that the setting on the HS34 should be "Aviation 9600" which seems strange. Is the...

    AP76 delivery

Some of the concern would be what would we do with the HS34 and AP74. It isn't clear that wheit value would trade in with the D-100. It appears that the fubctionality of these two units are intigrated into the nex-gen?

Is there a reason not to remove the extra 5 feet of so of cable between the D-100 and the EDC-D10A? Thanks, Dave

    Roll Servo Wires

Did anyone else provide protection for the roll servo wires to prevent them from chafing on the servo support bracket? Thought about placing the wires in heat shrink, but was worried that the round wire bundle would then rub as the wires come out flat and there isn't much room. So, instead...
