Garmin V or Garmin 5. It's old school but is pretty decent-other than needing a computer (with a com port) to get way points into it.

Is there any reason to add a Garmin V (Garmin 5) that is WAAS ‘capable’ to a Skyview system if I plan on using the GPS-250 and Map-270? I’m guessing if I didn’t have the GPS-250 the Garmin serial output could be used in its place. Serial input can get you glideslope (Table 7, HSI requirements)...
