Bill the HS34 works with the 480. I have software ver 2.10 set the speed on 480 and hs34 to low set 480 output to 429 no FP. Only problem I have had is a jittery CDI. The 2.3 update is available from Garmin now SB850. Bill Lancair 320

Hi Phantom: 4 wires going from the 480 to hs34 429 out2A and 429 out2B to 23,11 on hs34 you don not need the serial connection. Speeds are Low on the 480 you do need to split the wires going to hs34 airinc inputs. I split the 429 airinc out2a and 2b to 429 Rx 1A and 1B will test this on...

Yes that is exactly what is happening. If only the airinc output is connected to HS34 then will the md200 also work. I need both units to work...Is this also happening to 430/530 units Thanks

Has anyone connected a HS34 to a GNS480 without any problems...I have a problem where the MD200-306 seems to be controlled by course knob of HS34 I am using CHNL 5 on the 480 for Airinc output/inputs in Nav mode...

I have Just installed D10A with optional internal battery. The battery will only charge to 15.5 volts is this normal the battery is 2 years old but has been charged every 4 - 5 months while finishing The Lancair... Regards Bill
