I will verify the connection on the sensor again. I will also pull the plug out of the ems and see what the pin crimp looks like. Is there any test I can do to the sensor other than buying a new one? Scott

I have a IO520

My oil temp fluctuates about 10 degrees all the time. Its not really a problem unless its a hot day departure and I get up near redline on the climb. The temp changes about every 3-5 seconds. Is there anyway to smooth this out? Scott

Sure you can find it. Its in the data. Buts its a major PITA to do it! EGT's are going up and down with every throttle or altitude change. With thousands of rows of data. its close to useless for examining LOP data. Not completely but close. I can't remember how many hours of data is...

Thats really too bad :-/ and a glaring omission. Adding a * to the temp number or wrapping the egt temp in ()'s is all that is needed.... Scott

The manual implies I can download and upload the fuel calibration data. How is this done? I don't see the option listed on the Dynon Windoze program.

I'm trying to tune my injectors and downloading the EMS data to see how things went. Is there an indication in one of the data logging columns when each cylinder goes LOP? THE EMS obviously knows this as it displays the degrees LOP in parens when in LOP mode. I've looked but can't find it...

I have a carb temp probe with one white wire and one white/black wire. Hooked up without the 5vdv pullup resister, per the installation instructions. Cold engine, ambient temps in 60's, the temp displayed is 110? It displays a higher temp if I blow warm air on it. whats up? Scott

The installation manual says that if you have an EFIS and an EMS, you hook up the GPS to the EMS. This will allow the display of the gps course on the EFIS in the main display mode and the HSO mode? For this to work can I just hook up the DSUB bus and not the serial ports? Scott
