    2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30

Re: 2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30 Thanks for the very clear answer, that's exactly what I needed. Ideally : master bus is attitude with gps, and slave is hsi with SL30. On the HSI NAVSRC menu, I can choose infos from SL30 coming directly, or GPS coming from DSAB. Perfect, BUT for now, GPS...

    D10 A doesn't power up

I have 2 D10A, connected to the same electrical bus. One has a internal backup battery, the other not and doesn't even have a keep alive. When voltage is roughly below 11v, the unit without battery doesn't power up. The other does, and doesn't warn it is running on internal battery. Is this a...

    2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30

Re: 2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30 "2) You should hook your GPS to one D10A and the SL-30 to the other D10A. The EFIS units will share information over DSAB. You can show winds, HSI, and other information on either screen. " I read on the manual that only one unit could receive the nav or...

    2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30

Re: 2 X D10A + 1 X  GNS430 + 1 X SL30 - The clock of the slave is synchronized to the master - no, only the master must have the nav sources - switching it off is ok

    Intermittent HSI screen

For information, I temporarily solved the problem by switching the DB25 between the 2 units, and reconfiguring the network. The HSI becomes the master bus, and EFIS is the slave. Btw, with the reconfiguration, the OAT (and TAS) now appears on the slave.

    Intermittent HSI screen

I just connected today my 2 D10A. The master has GNS430, SL30, EDC and OAT, and the HSI datas on the slave are blinking like Jim says, whatever SL30 or GPS are connected. I don't have room for a HS34. Is there a solution ? I didn't try in flight yet, but I guess it could be quite uncomfortable...
