    D10A: Struggling with heading calibration

Support, Performed the following: 1. Entered Magnetic intensity and inclination values 2. Attempted 'Ground North' procedure...kept getting 'Not enough data' error message (swinging 540d over approx 3min interval) 3. Gave up...went flying 4. Tried 'Airborne North' calibration...appeared to work...

D10A: Declutter of left and right displays

Hi, How about an option to not display the left and right hand side displays, i.e. where the G-Meter, Voltage, VSI etc currently go. At present, the user can select between a number of different options for these areas, but it would be nice if 'none' is available as well. Leonard

    AOA calibration

Support, Thanks for your reply. Two points: 1. My suggestion is for the owner/builder to enter the values manually...not at the factory (read initial post again). It's a simple matter for the pilot to stall the aircraft and to note whether a small increment / decrement is needed and then to...

    Displaying track instead of heading

Dear Dynon, I've chosen to not mount the remote compass module. I have a panel mounted compass and two GPS systems in my VFR only RV6. As I do appear to have interference from other avionics within the panel I've had to turn off the heading indication. With appropriate GPS connectivity, why...

    AOA calibration

Dear Dynon, I had a quick scan through the calibration process for the AOA tape of my D10A. It seems particularly cumbersome. I fly a RV6 and, within reason, the model is well understood and variability between different aircraft is not that great. Why can't I simply enter the values manually...

    D10A Internal battery failure?

All, I've had my D10A for approximately 6 months now. When I received the unit (and on at least on subsequent occasion) I charged the internal battery for a few hours. I've not played with the unit for a few months and when I turned it on this morning...nothing. Thinking that it simply needed a...
