Where do I look in the setup menu so that I can adjust the heading indicator ?
Not sure which unit you have, but for the D100, the screen navigation is in the operators manual. The heading is adjusted by calibrating the compass. This is found in the installation manual 4-1 to 4-4. It’s not real simple, read carefully, you’ll need some info from NOAA to start. YMMV. Once done correctly it works well. If you have a gps attached you can get a wind arrow on the screen with the calculated speed and direction. Hope this helps. Bob

There's both a full calibration that you definitely should perform, under SETUP>MAGCAL. There is also a manual adjust under SETUP>MAGADJ. But, our best advice is to make sure to read the full instructions on how to use these calibration tools in the installation manual, which is available at docs.dynonavionics.com. Note that there are some steps that involve looking up localized magnetic field numbers on the internet that you'll need to key in just before doing your calibration routine.
