I'm finding this DRX to be very weak when picking up ADS-B traffic. I'm 8 miles from a tower, and sitting side by side with the Dual XGPS170 which I'm hoping to replace (using a thumbtack instead of an antenna) , it's barely painting. See photo. I've updated the firmware, and have moved it inside and out, but not much comparitive improvement. I'm concerned that if I get this level of sensitivity here, I'll be struggling when airborne to see the whole picture.

Perhaps you have a defective unit. My friend just purchased one and we tested it, today. We only installed the antenna and updated the firmware to 1.0.3. Upon initial test while sitting on the ground at KDWH, we could see all the aircraft flying overhead in the pattern and on departure (up to 5 miles from the field at the time; we didn't track the aircrafts further using FlyQ).
