Another skyview question?

Only enough panel space for 2-7inch screens. Myquestion is can the moving map and stuff be turned off to only have a solid color screen for ease of seeing airspeed, etc. for say landings?? Eyes not to good and on the videos with the moving map looks kinda hard to see.

Steve,
I assume you mean the synthetic vision on the background of the PFD? If so, yes, it can be turned off. It's two button presses to turn it on or off. Here's a picture:

(if it looks purple, it's just your monitor, it's blue over brown on the product)

The top-down map can also be turned off so you have a full screen PFD.
