Is there any reason to upgrade a standalone D10A from version 3 to 4. The unit is connected to a Garmin GNC300XL which works fine on the HSI and doesn't support vertical guidance

Thanks

As per our release notes, here's what we changed that doesn't relate to DSAB or the HS34. If any of this is of interest to you, then an update will help. If you don't see anything that you care about (such as not using the HSI at all), then there are no changes in the software that relate to the ADAHRS at all.

Improved: Various HSI page changes to support HS34 and user feedback about legibility of display elements.

Improved: Vertical guidance indicator now matches Garmin 396/496 indicator when receiving VNAV information.

Improved: Back course flag on HSI page is now yellow.

Improved: Manually set OAT (available when an EFIS does not have an OAT probe hooked up) is not considered valid until it is explicitly set by the user.

Improved: Serial GPS input compatibility improved with multiple devices. See http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/GPS_Configuration_Settings for current compatibility notes.
