I wish to know whether a future firmware upgrade will allow user switching between the current artificial horizon (AH) display and that found on traditional mechanical AHs i.e. when the airctaft rolls to the left in the current setup the indicator rolls to the right. This is opposite to a "normal" AH and is potentially confusing. I'm sure some pilots love it the way it is but I would like the option of selecting it differently i.e. when the aircraft rolls to the left, the indicator also rolls to the left. Will this option be available in a future firmware upgrade?

Are you talking about the whole AH background, or just the roll pointer?

Hi,
I think what Peter is saying is that he would prefer the Indicater pointer to stay still (central) and the background only to bank over. I too find it slightly confusing compared to a conventional AI.
On conventional AI's you can order either a fixed or moving pointer.
I guess my question is will this become a future option

Alan.

Yes, the roll pointer option will be available in a future release.

No, I can't tell you when that might be released, but it is being actively worked on.
