Can I change the pressure readout value

I have a fuel pressure transducer connected to the fuel line.
It reads 37 psi but I have measured the pressure with a mechanical gauge and it's 42 psi.
Can I modify the reading from this transducer in the dynon setup?

It's the Kavlico 101716-000 pressure sender connected to the Viking fuel pressure module.

Is it hooked up to SkyView or a different product? This isn't going to make a difference, but just wanted to fully understand your configuration. In any case, there isn't a way to "adjust" the reading. What makes you suspect the sensor over the mechanical gauge though?

It's hooked up to Skyview. Anything is possible for errors but the pressure regulator is supposed to output 42 # psi and the mechanical gauge agreed with the 42# output. Either way, the engine is working fine, just hoped to get all readouts to agree.
Thanks

The Kavlico parts have a specified accuracy of 2%, which is only 1 PSI. They are generally very reliable and accurate, so that's why no adjustment is provided.

Are you using the 50PSI sensor or a larger one? One thing to check is that your sensor and configuration match. On the side of the sensor is etched a part number which ends in something like 50G. 50 means a 50 PSI sensor. Make sure your software configuration matches.

If you'd like to test this sensor yourself, you can do so. You need to disconnect the green wire which is going to the EMS in case that is the issue.

1) Check that the voltage between red and black is 5V (+/- 0.4V)
2) At 0 PSI, the output on the green wire to ground should be 0.5V
3) At 42 PSI, the output voltage should be 3.86V if you have a 50 PSI sensor.

If the sensor output voltage is right, then we can help you look at other issues.

This is interesting, I also have an RV12/Viking engine. We had some guesswork as to where to get the 5v for the Kavlico. Apparently you are saying that if the 5v is off its value, so will be the readings? Where on the Skyview do you recommend we get the 5v?

The 5V is not critical in value, anything from 4.5 to 5.5 will work.

However, as the install manual says, the only place we suggest getting the 5V from is right from the EMS pin #17.
