I just finished installing the carb temp sensor for my d120. It is in an ma3-spa. It has the black/white wires and I have sensor type 3 selected. It reads 250 degrees. I have double checked the wiring and I think everything is as it's supposed to b. Any ideas?

So you should have no resistor installed, just one wire to the GP input of your choice, and the other to ground. You also need to have the correct GP input set to carb air temp. I'd suspect that this may be your issue, actually. If you confirm all that, measure the resistance across the wires with the EMS powered off and report back your measurement, along with the ambient temperature during your measurement.

bingo.....my wiring guy installed a resistor, he will be beaten...he's good at reading a wiring diagram, but apparently can't read instructions at a 3rd grade level. Thanks a bunch for the quick reply.
