Im plannnig an HDX system for my 310 R. It looks like Ill have to keep my AI and HSi to keep my autopilot functioning until the Dynon Auto pilot gets approval. Anyone else heading this direction?

Not my aircraft or image, but this is a Piper PA32 with the OEM KFC 150. This pilot opted to mount the AI/HSI next to the PFD.

It's definitely a viable option until the Autopilot STC comes around! For the time being you'd have an awesome PFD/MFD and a great engine monitor!

Nice! Man I'm jealous 😍

Keep us updated! I'm sure many other 310/320 owners will be asking questions soon!

OK! Dimensions of panels have been dialed in. Im having to shrink the Co pilot panel but thats fine, right seaters dont do anything anyway! Ive laser cut some templates and CNC will be up and running here in a few days. I powered up the HDX system and Ive got a software mismatch so ive got to figure that out. Pics to follow

Software mismatch often means that not all the components of the system have the same software version, could be the two displays, but could also be one of the units knob panel etc . that was delivered with a older/newer version. Just start up one display to see if the issue goes away. Software version of the units are normally updated after network is configured. If displays are different the just power up one and load the latest software and then do the same with the other
