I am just about to finish an upgrade from my actual 1 x D10A - 1 x EMS 10 configuration to a 3 x D10A - 1 x EMS 10 configuration, which will give me virtually any option and redundancy.
One handy option that came to my mind now is the Pop-Up of a Softkey for Emergency Checklists. I imagine this as a further option on the EMS setup menu. Any malfunction could then optionally generate a softkey, which - if touched - brings up the associated abnormal - or emergency checklist via the DSAB on the EFIS.
I would suggest, that silencing the alert once would cancel the warning, silencing it a second time would also cancel the softkey pop-up. So we avoid continuous checklist suggestions in case of negligible situations.
What do you think? Any comments are appreciated.
Kind regards
Thomas
