I have an intermittant problem in that sometimes my CHT and EGT all read correctly and sometimes they all indicate minus 99 (-99). Before I get too deep in trying to find the problem, does anybody have a clue to this problem solution. Such as - maybe a missing/deficient ground, or something like that??? Just trying to save time. thanks :-[

This is a problem i have seen before & is most likely the wires retracted somewhat at the 25pin dsub connector end.

If you disconnect it, & while holding the connector facing you, bend the loom firmly back & forth just behind the connector.  You should see the pins moving in & out so you need to strain relieve the wires so that there is very little flexing of them when the 25 Dsub is reconnected.

There can be problems at the probe end but they exhibit different symptoms ;)
