System is a Dynon 1000 classic with single 10 inch display. About 3 weeks ago on initial boot up I noticed the info screen showing booting progress was very dim and at the completion of the loading a message appeared saying shutting down in thirty seconds. Since I was using the Ships aux battery for boot up I turned on the master and avionics switch and it booted normally by itself the second time. Today the system will not boot normally on ships battery or ships aux battery at all. The display is dimmer then normal and during the loading when the RTIO Manager starting line is showing it says could no initialize RITO UART port. After loading is complete the PFD starts to flash and a Red x flashes on and off WITH ADAHRS FAIL MESSAGE and a POWERING DOWN IN 30 SECONDS BANNER. It shuts down even if the stay on button is pushed and starts the boot cycle again by itself over and over. The strange thing is if I turn the avionics and ships battery off after it says it is shut down it boots on the Dynon B/U battery and the display is normal with no ADHARS failure noted. But when I turn on the ships battery it immediately displays a ADAHRS FAIL warning, a flashing red X on the PFD and the 30 second shut down warning starts again. Could this behavior be caused by the B/U battery circuity? Ships Battery and ships aux battery are fully charged and showing 12 volts. The Dynon B/U battery was showing 11.1 volts when it was powering the system by itself and discharging. Any suggestions of where to start.
