New guy here, planning on the HDX in my plane this dall.

I understand I am asking a question that the Dynon team will likely not be able to answer publicly.....but......

Does anyone think the HDX will ever allow for crossing alt for different legs in the flight plan? I understand that newer IFR navigators have these programing capabilities. I wouldn't know because all I have is a 430.

That said, it does seem like a nice feature to be able update a VFR flight plan with various altitudes.

Thoughts?

Of the SkyView new capability wish list items I’d put this down the list. This does not have much practical use, at least for my typical IFR flight plan.

Now if Dynon would just bite the bullet and come out with their own TSO GPS navigator life would be great. I hate sending money to Garmin for their clunky, overpriced boxes.

The new Trig NAV/Comm interface with the SkyView is a hopeful sign. I’ll match this NAV/Comm with the Garmin 175 GPS navigator.
