D180 grey screen

Need advice about a problem.
Essentially my D180 flicked into a grey screen while flying today and that's all I get.

Background- was flying and engaged autopilot ( all Dynon components AP74, servos etc) - oil temp became erratic. Turned off autopilot and temp stablized.
Did a few rechecks and it repeated same response.

Switched off the oil temp sensor and turned on my round gauge backup. Temp actually normal. Flew for about five minutes and screen on the D180 blinked and went grey.
Still gives audio warnings ( associated with switching the oil temp sensor over or back to the D180) and will switch off and on with front buttons. So I think it's actually working despite the grey screen. But autopilot seems to have died as well - no red lights etc.

This is the second major failure on the device in about a year ( had it back to shop last year for a very dark screen ( the detail was here just very dark and hard to read)
It's about 12 or 13 years old and I'm now at the point where if this is more than some minor issue I can't rely on the device and I'll look at getting something new to replace it.

Any advice?

After posting the above I rechecked the autopilot. It seems to be working ( on the ground at least - makes all the right noises and joystick moves as usual)

So looks like it may be just the screen has died.

Please contact our tech folks. If you paid to fix a screen problem a year ago, they will want to know about it.
