Hi
What data rates are supported for the GPS -> Efis link? Is it standard 9600 / 19200 or does the efis look for data rates all the way up to 115200?
My GPS currently connects directly to a laptop, as does the efis. I'd rather do the 'wiring' in software, rather than have some complicated wiring between the efis, gps and laptop...
It also means I can hook up an SL30 to the laptop, and the program can auto-select which stream to send to the efis - SL30 when in approach mode or when active, and the gps for all enroute readings.
On this thread of thinking, if the efis looks for the sentnces at 115200 for both devices, then it would mean that I don't need to close and re-open the comm port each time the stream changes - I could just switch sentence sets...
Thanks
