DSAB - No EFIS on EMS

I just hooked up the EFIS and the EMS, the EMS data is displays on the EFIS but the EMS comes up with a message saying that the EFIS data is not avalilable. I reterminated the DSAB wires (green to green and blue to blue) with the same result any ideas?

For the EFIS data to appear on the EMS, the EMS and EFIS PC serial ports need to be connected together with a null modem between them. Refer to the EMS installation guide for details.

After some future firmware update, all communication will be go over DSAB and you'll be able to leave the PC serial ports disconnected. But currently, they do still need to be hooked up.
