EDC-10A location on Tecnam P92

Does anyone have experience with installing D-100 on a Tecnam P92?

I'm wondering where I should put hte EDC-D10A. I'm concerned about the steel frame in the fuselage and thinkng I need to go out on the wingtip.

But that's a long cable run and will require making up an extension for the cable from the EFIS to the EDC. No drama to make up the cable, but is that too long a run?

Safeair1.com offers a kit for mounting the EDC in the wing tip on RV aircraft. It should also work for the Tecnam.
