EDC not found

My EMS/EFIS has been working fine for several months, including the latest HSI update. Yesterday, I powered up the two units and got the dreaded "Remote EDC Not Found" message. Absolutely nothing has changed in the plane since it was working properly. Dynon repaired the EDC once before (it had a burnt component). Do you suppose it is the same thing, or is there something else I can look for?

Hi Roger,

We still don't have power at the office so I can't peek to see exactly what we figured out last time. Was there anything on the installation end (loose or grounded EDC wires, for example), that contributed to the burnt component? In any case, if you haven't touched anything, then it's either a severed connection (check your wiring), or something wrong with the EDC itself again.
