EMS general purpose connections

Hello,

As I moved my airplane to the full suite, I have hooked up items to displayed on the screen. One of these items, my landing light, is not playing well. I have tried a GP and a EGP connection that is connected to the power side of the relay for that light. Both times, I got from the EMs 5v’s to the lead which was puzzling. I verified no current from that landing light wire before. Any ideas why it would be doing that?

I did hook up other items that send 12v when turned on with none of these issue. They are only showing themselves with the landing light.

Assuming you're talking about the enhanced type C general purpose inputs (pins 8, 22, 23, and 31), the 5 volts is coming from the HDX. It has that voltage constantly applied, and it needs you to provide ground to 'activate' it for an on/off or contact indication.

Need to turn off Pull up Voltage on Pin 22 in EMS

I have scoured book, setup in Skyview, and forums. I cannot figure out where I turn off pull up voltage. Please either reference the exact page of manual or just tell me. This is for my HYD 12v sense line. ie, ON it will send 12v (see 5v) to EMS. Right now it in data debug it shows...
