Extracting EFIS Data From a D180

When I retrieve logged data from my D180 using the Dynon Support Program, the .csv file only contains EMS data, no flight/EFIS data.  I get this with the 9-pin d-sub connector that is a part of the 25 pin EFIS connector.  

Curiously enough, the 9-pin d-sub that comes from the 37 pin EMS connector is not recognized by the same ports that easily read the EFIS conenctor.  The harnesses were Dynon supplied.

Q#1: How can I extract the logged EFIS data?

Q#2: Any thoughts why the EMS connector is not recognized?  Is it possibly inactive on a D180 since there is already an EFIS connector?

1) This feature does not yet exist, though it will in our firmware update in the coming few months.

2) All support program communications happen through the EFIS connector, thought the EMS serial port does output the EMS data in real time.
