I spent two days trying to figure out how come my fuel level gauge was not reading anything? Tried everything, read the manual 100 times?
Electronics engineer tried too. Finally we went thru calibration, and it came alive.
Can you please insert in the manual a notice that the fuel gauge display is blank unless calibrated. It will save some time for the next guy :)

The EMS installation guide does already note that "Once you have installed your fuel level sensors, you will need to calibrate each of them, as described in....".

The "CAL" reading that you see on the tanks on the EMS before calibration has been performed is meant to serve as an additional reminder that the gauges need to calibrated. Sorry for the confusion.
