I feel like we are getting closer and closer to full autonomy such as cars are. Now with vnav to a runway threshold, this is very exciting to see what the software and current hardware are capable of. Can't wait for the day when I can hop in, tell the plane where I want to go and it'll take me there, hands free.

I eagerly await the day when this is available for cars, because of what it will mean for people who can't drive due to a medical condition or disability.

Please don't put it in my airplane.

I don't have first hand experience but the hanger rat at the place I coffee says his boss spends 20 minutes programing the AP in his Beechcraft Premier and other than taxi and takeoff/landing it pretty much takes him there hands free. Depends on how much money you want to spend I guess.  ;D ;D
