G Meter on tilted D180

I have a D180 mounted in my Sonex. The instrument panel is tilted about 28 degrees. It seems that the G meter does not compensate for the panel tilt. So in a level attitude it only reads about 0.9g. And of course the error increases as G force increases. Is this on the bug list to be fixed?

This is a known issue, and is on our list, but we can't say when or if it will be fixed.

The D180 is becoming very popular with Sonex builders. Fixing this problem would benefit a lot of people.
