GPS signal wiring

I have both EFIS , EMS and AP 74 installed in my panel, I just installed AP and connected GPS signal to pin 22 on the EFIS, just read in the installation guide this suppose to be installed to pin 19 on the EMS when both EFIS and EMS is installed. Do I need to rewire to pin 19 on EMS?

That is how it's documented, but, it also may work hooked up to the EFIS pin. If anything, it may not transmit the GPS over to the EMS side for fuel computer type of calculations. The the HSI/AP functionality would work regardless. My bet (without being able to test it) is that it'll work either way.
