For whatever reason, my EFIS-D10 does not keep my selection for the left INFO.  Whenever I start the unit up, it comes up with the volt meter displayed on the left, VSI displayed on the right.  I change the left to the G-meter, but then the next time I start it up it comes back up with the volt meter.

Yes, I am using keep-alive.

Any ideas?

Hi Dan,

Do you also have an internal battery? If so, what is probably happening is that when you cut master power, the EFIS switches to the internal battery. When it does this, it displays the voltmeter to alert you that it has switched to backup power. Check to see if this is happening. Now, ideally, it should remember your previous selection and present that at next bootup. It sounds like this isn't happening, and we should explore that if that's the case.

Yep, I do have an internal battery.  I didn't realize that's what was happening...nice feature, but annoying in this particular case.  Today I confirmed on my EFIS-D10 that what you said is true -- as I flip the master switch off, the unit automatically changes the left INFO to volts.  It would be great if you could fix this, so that it goes back to the previously selected info either (a) when it starts up next, or (b) when power from the bus is restored.

Thanks,
