Kavlico sender wire requirements

I note that the Kavilco senders have 16 gauge wire pigtails. Yet the EMS module harness uses 22 gauge wire. What wire size is recommended for running between the two?

It's not carrying any current, so the size here doesn't make a material difference. 22 gauge will be fine.
