I was wondering about the newest revision for Europe, which is a great addition. I also noticed that with this update are other "bug" fixes even for the USA. Do the US costumers have to download Europe into our SV's? If so my thought, is we would have europe data on our SV. Would that not add to clutter the memory of the SV.
My experience with computers is that as the memory fills, the system becomes clogged slow etc. I know that SV has plenty of memory now, but who knows how much will be added in the future that is vital.
I may be all wet in my thinking and that is why I am posting, to satisfy my thoughts with the facts from those who know.
Thanks for reading
Dave

If you're a US customer, and don't purchase an EU charts subscription, your SkyView behaves the way it did before the 7.1 upgrade, plus the couple of bug fixes listed in the what's new page that you can see from the downloads pae. Actually, charts, unlike the digital aviation databases, stay on the USB stick because they're so big, and so they're not "filling up" SkyView memory anyway. So basically, it only helps to be running the latest software version, and there's no concern about running out of memeory. Indidentally, unlike windows or normal computer operating systems, SkyView basically completely replaces the software that it runs when it goes from version to version, minus your settings, and so there's no cluttering of files and memory like you'd see on a PC upgrade.
