Lost peers error msg

got a new D180 on rma 5876 and installed it and now getting DSAB error msg (lost peers) this unit has version 5.1.1 and I believe my old unit had 5.0 or 5.1. I am not able to make the unit busmaster.
My laptop has Vista on it and I cannot comunicate with the D180.
have checked the wiring and it is correct. what baud rate should the com port be?
Dynon can you add code to make these master units upgrade all the other dynon units when powered up.

All your units do need to be on the same version of software, so this is probably your issue.

Vista works fine with the support program, and you don't need to manually set the baud rate anywhere (the program does this). The main issue with Vista tends to be the driver if you are using the USB-serial converter. Make sure you use the driver that Vista auto-downloads.
