Mooney Autopilot Approved

Well today was the big day. The Dynon autopilot is now approved for Mooney J/K. Mine shipped today. Been a long wait.

A long time coming! Congrats to Mooney owners and Dynon. I'm sure they would have like more models approved. But it's a start.

Pa28/32 next....pretty please. Have both in the hangar....

I have just finished installing the Dynon Autopilot in my M20J. In flight test now. Very excited and Dynon Tech has been very helpful over the past 2 weeks.

In looking at the servo installation manual I can't see any big reason why the current system would not work in other
models with the exception of a slightly different sized tray in the rear (maybe) and I think the roll servo would mount using the same
parts now certified.
If only Dynon was interested in doing it.
Dynon? Phone call for Dynon? I have an airframe with HDX (D model) and a 50 yrs experienced A&P willing to look into fits if parts could be borrowed?
