Narco Nav 122d and hs34

Hi Dynon,
do have a narco nav 122d, its the all in one instrument. Can you please advise wether its compatible with the hs34 please

Hi Butt,

I had one as well and was told by the avionics engineer that it would only output a "left-right-signal", which you can use for an autopilot. But I could not drive any BRG pointers, so I guess it isn't working with the HS34 either. Anyhow, as it is the all-in-one, it makes up the perfect backup in about any panel.

We don't know enough about it, but judging from the type of device it is, there is a good possibility that it does not output anything that can be consumed by another external indicator (since it has its own).

I've got a Narco 122D. As near as I can tell from reading the Installation Manual, it will not output any VOR or LOC signals. If you have a 122D/GPS, it can accept lateral deviation input from a GPS, so it can serve as the required CDI for an IFR GPS. I could send the Installation Manual to Dynon, if they wish to review it.
