The new radio caught me in the middle of wiring my RV-10.  Talked to Stein and am now on the list for one.

Can you release a schematic (preliminary or final) for the wiring of the system?  I would like to be able to install the head-radio wires now because I am lacing the wires and they will run in some of my bundles.

Thanks

Attached is the PRELIMINARY wiring diagram for the radio. While we have no plans to change this, we reserve the right to before the product ships and is officially documented.

Both the control panel and the remote transciever module have D15 male connectors on them, so you will be making a cable with two D15 female ends.

The control panel itself also wires to the SkyView network via our standard 9 pin data cables. There are two of these connectors on the control panel, so you can use the control panel as a "passthrough" if you want.

Intercom wiring is here:

I'm assuming there are serial connections to the Skyview?  It is not clear how this is done.

There are no serial connections to SkyView. It uses the same cabling that things like the AHRS, EMS, servos, etc use to communicate.

Yes, you can press the frequency knob to flip flop. Use of the external flip-flop is optional.

An update on this -

Our development team has made liars out of us marketeers. We claimed June, but it's still May, and SkyView 6.0 is available NOW at http://downloads.dynonavionics.com.

All documentation for the update, as well as for the COM and Intercom is available at http://docs.dynonavionics.com.

Note that the Intercom and Radio don't go on sale until Monday, June 3.

Is the wiring diagram attached to the top of this pages first post still the correct one?
