No GPS position source!

I have a big red X on the skyview 1000. It states Expired database 28 May 2014. I have the license so How do I get it back? Any help will be appreciated.

Even if your databases are expired the map will continue to be displayed. So I don't think that's the issue that's causing the X. However, if you're in the US, updated databases are always at http://downloads.dynonavionics.com though. What is the message in front of the red X?

A box on the screen states "EXPIRED DATABASE, 28 MAY 2014. Under that is a big red X. Thanks for any help.

The "X" means we are getting NO GPS data. Nada, zilch. If we were getting GPS data but it had no GPS lock, you would get a "?".

So either a wire broke, the GPS broke, or someone re-configured your serial ports.
