Noise on Intercom when dimming

Hello - i just hooked up my EMS-D10 and noticed when I dim the unit, i get a growling tone in the intercom.  The sound changes with each level of dimming and goes away at fulll brightness.  I have the audio connected thru a 10K pot as suggested.  Any thoughts?

Pete,
I'd first try and see if the problem is there with the EMS audio wire disconnected. We need to know if it's the actual audio wire that is injecting the noise or if it's just the audio panel picking it up some other way.
