Not finding the GPS satellites

Since uploading the latest software version of Skyview my SVD700 often cannot find the satellites. It sometime does after 20 to 40 minutes.
I am in Europe, could it be that I loaded a US version which looks first for the satellites supposed to be in the US skies according to the Ephemeride ?

Chris, I don't think that there is anything in the software version that would enhance the initial GPS fix for a particular region. Furthermore I don't see anything related in the release notes for v16. I suggest that you put your airplane out of the hangar to have clear satellite view and then watch: SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP > GPS FIX STATUS
After a few minutes you should have a couple of green bars, otherwise something is wrong with your device.

Thank you for your answer and suggestion. Today it worked fine but I will still perform the test you have suggested, the next time I go flying.
