I'm getting higher readings from my OAT sensor, Its reading 137deg, when its 80deg outside.  At times the EFIS says, the OAT is not detected, then it comes back to 130+deg.    Does this sound like a EFIS issue or the sensor itself, or a wiring issue, the sensor has worked flawless for 4yrs now with no issues?  Please help diagnose the problem w/OAT.
Thanks, Mark in TX

Do you know if it's a type 1 or a type 2 sensor?

This is most likely the sensor or the wiring. The EDC (remote compass) generally doesn't ever have issues failing so I doubt that. Check your wiring (it could be a break or a short based on what you are seeing), and if you are sure it's OK, then give us a call and we can get you a new sensor.

Dear Dynon -
I've got a style 1 sensor, from the original D10 unit, I upgraded to the D10A got a new EDC but not a new OAT sensor, Do I need the type 2 sensor or the newest part number 100433-000?
Regards,
Mark
