OAT wiring discrepancy

I am trying to wire my OAT probe to my EDC-D10A. the info in the manual states that the blue wire goes to Pin #1 and an addendum note contained in the package with the probe says blue wire to pin #8. I had a wiring harness made up by an avionics company and their information says it needs to go to Pin #1. What is correct? This appears it should be a ground wire. Thanks.

It can go to either. Pin one is harder since another wire is already there, but if it's already wired, it's fine. If you are in the process of doing it, 8 is easiest.
