Am I correct that a small amount of play in the connection between Pitch Servo pushrod and the pushrod it attaches to (between the Stick and the Elevator BellCrank) cause the Autopilot to oscillate up and down around the target altitude in Altitude Hold ?

Yes. Any play or hysteresis in a feedback system can cause oscillations. Thanks! Confirms my suspicions... I know where to go first now to fix this! I used a clamp with rubber between metal clamp and push rod... Need to put a different claim that is metal on metal and put a small set screw or a small bolt through the clamp and push rod to tighten and prevent slippage.
