Question on Transponder Interface

I am installing a D-180 (primary), D-100, HS-34, and AP-74. For the serial 2 TX connection to the transponder (Garmin GTX-327), how do I handle connecting both the 180 and the 100? Do I just connect the 180 or both? If I only connect the 180, what do I do with the 100 sheilded lead- remove or terminate?

You can only connect one at a time. You can use the D180 or D100, it doesn't matter. The unused one can be cut of or just rolled up. If you want a backup in case one dies and you are away from home, you could install a switch or easy to swap connectors so you can go from one to the other.
