Remote compass - antenna distance

What would be a safe distance to mount the com antenna from the remote compass? Would 14 inch's likely to cause interference?

The RF energy from the antenna is not an issue at all, so it would just be the mounting hardware that could be a problem. 14" is plenty to get away from any hardware used to mount an antenna.
