Rotax Engine Monitoring

For those of us running Rotax 4 stroke engines the Dynon is getting pretty close to being a superb engine monitoring system but it's still got one major problem.... While there are only the CHT temperature measuring points on the 4 stroke Rotax engines we'd still like to monitor four EGT's.

Right now I can monitor the two CHT's and two of the EGT's or I can monitor all four EGT's, the two CHT's and get permanent alarms from the two unused CHT's. This is due to the fact that if you change the number of CHT's then the number of EGT's changes as well.

Could I suggest that, for a future build, you incorporate the ability to display this 2CHT/4EGT combination.

This is in the upcoming firmware!

You can choose any number of CHT's and any number of EGT's completely independent of one another. You can even split 1 CHT / 6 EGT's if you wanted to.

If you have less CHT's than EGT's and use "combined" mode, the CHT bar spans multiple EGT bars. In split mode you get the right number of CHT bars and the right number of EGT bars.

I guess that makes us the perfect Rotax solution.
