How often should the SykView Magnetic Compass be checked for accuracy? FAA AC 43-215 states:

"Owners/operators should swing an aircraft (1) at periodic intervals as recommended by the manufacturer, ..."

but I can't find any recommended timeframe in the SkyView documentation.

There isn't a formal periodic recommended interval. Unlike mechanical magnetic direction indicators, there aren't physical parts that can wear out due to friction, change in the internal permanent magnets, etc. The calibration will not change over time unless there is an electronic or software failure of some unknown kind. So in that sense, it fall into the "on condition" bucket. Of course, you're free to determine your own interval to check the accuracy.

THANKS! I kinda thought so but wasn't sure. So re-do the calibration "as/if needed". Makes perfect sense.

One other caveat. If you add / remove / change the location of avionics (or any other component which may change the "magnetic signature" of your aircraft) it would be prudent to re-calibrate.
