SV-425 Com Mod level

Dynon,

Looking at a pre-owned radio. It’s marked Mod AB. Is this current? If not, what’s the cost to make it current?

Software upgrades are free. I looked at a photo of mine that was purchased about 18 months ago. The label mentions nothing about Mod.

I purchased one of the first Comms, and returned it last June for an upgrade.  Dynon told me the ID tag should have a "Mod AB"on it (as of last June), so I think you are OK.  I would check with Dynon Customer Support just to be sure there are no new mods. They told me the mods were due to transmission and noise issues (which I was having).  Dynon covered the upgrade, but your (or whoever is reading this) situation may be different.  Again, I would go ahead and contact Customer Support.
